We are very happy to introduce our C.E.U. workshop..."Rehabracadabra". The focus of this workshop is using magic as a therapeutic modality. The instruction of magic for the purpose of increasing manual dexterity, strengthening fine and gross motor skills, improving problem-solving, lengthening attention spans, sharpening psycho-social abilities, and improving communication and socialization. Magic therapy develops functional skills related to proprioception, activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) and helps build self-esteem by teaching patients a skill that most people—regardless of ability—do not possess.
